They Say it's Your Birthday!

As most of you know I am a rescue dog and my mommy and daddy rescued me when I was 7 weeks old. They don't know the exact date of when I was born so this whole week is kinda like my birthday week. We picked today to celebrate my birthday and I was so excited!!! I woke mommy and daddy up early this morning because I was so excited! I already went on a pawesome walk this morning and I get to go to Pet Smart today to pick out some birthday presents! I can't wait---I love getting new toys! Mommy is even going to bake me a birthday cake---I can't wait to try it---she said it has peanut butter in it and I sure do love some peanut butter!

I'll be sure to post pictures tomorrow from all of my birthday fun!

Below are a few of my favorite pictures

Summer School isn't so bad

Hey guys I have been really excited to tell you about my summer school that I started this past Saturday but my internet has been down the last several days. It really sucked I couldn't check out my favorite doggie blogs or even go to the Petsmart website. Oh well it is fixed now and let me tell you about my classes. My teacher's name is Robert and he is really nice. He really makes me listen. After an hour session my mommy and daddy were so proud of me. They both said that I am a really fast learner. During my first class I learned how to walk right by my parents when going for a walk and not be distracted by other things such as other dogs and birds oh boy I do like birds. But when we are on a walk I am all buisness now. I know I can play with other dogs and chase birds when I am not on a walk. I don't have class this week due to Independence Day, but I will be back to school the following Saturday. I will keep you posted on what I learn.

I've been tagged!

My new furiend Princess the Pit Bull, has tagged me to play a game. I am suppose to open my photos folder and select the 6th folder. Then select the 6th photo in that folder and post that photo along with the story behind it on our blog. I have to tag five of my furiends to play! Only, I don't have enough furiends to tag since I still pretty new this blogging thing. But here is my picture!

This was back in January during the NFL playoffs. I saw one game and knew I had to have my own football. Unfortunately, I was too rough with my football and it didn't make it past the Super Bowl.

Thanks for tagging me Princess! I hope I can make some new furiends through this game of tag!

Summer School

I can't believe it! Mommy and Daddy signed me up for school during the summer! They said it is some kind of obedience school. I met my teacher, Mr. Robert over the weekend and he told me that I am going to learn self-control---whatever that means. I thought everyone liked when I jumped on them to greet them with kisses. He also told me that I think everything is about me! This school stuff is going to be hard! Mommy and Daddy are excited about it so maybe it won't be that bad since they have to go to school with me. I start Saturday and Mr. Robert told me to come hungry---so I guess he will give me lots of treats. Maybe school won't be so bad after all if I get to eat treats!

I'll let you know how my first day goes this weekend!

Pool Time

Here are some pictures of me enjoying my own private pool! I have to admit---it is PAWSOME! It helps me cool off now that it is getting hot and humid here in Tennessee. Sometimes I forget that I am supposed to get in it and play and I use it as a giant water bowl.

Speaking of Bugs....

So, I just told you about how much I looooovvvve bugs. Well they other night I found the coolest bugs ever! They light up. Oh yea, you heard me right... they light up! They are literally the best thing I have ever seen. I would be looking at one on one side of the yard and then another one would just light up all the way on they other side. It kept me really busy running and back and forth. My mommy and daddy were sitting on the back porch laughing at me but I didn't care I was having too much fun. Above are a couple pictures of me playing with these awesome bugs.

Oh, I almost left out the best part. They don't sting!!!

A boxer's got to have a swollen eye

OK, so I guess I need to explain why my eye is swollen. Well it all started the other day when I was outside playing. I have a weird fascination with bugs. I like to try and play with them. Most of them don't want to play with me so I usually just eat them. I found this one bug flying through the air. I started to try to play with it and it hit me right under the eye. It stung really bad. My mommy brought me inside and noticed that my eye started swelling and I was panting really hard. That's when my mommy and my grandma K called that Vet guy again. He told them to bring me in. He gave me some kind of medicine. All I know is it made me extremely tired. All I wanted to do was sleep the whole day. The above picture is after we got back from the vet and the swelling started to go down. But don't worry I was good as new the next day!
