The Best Play Time Ever!

So I told you last week about my trial run at doggie daycare, on Wednesday I got to go for a full day while Mommy and Daddy were at work. I had so much fun! I got to play with a bunch of furiends all day long! It definitely beat sleeping in my crate all day, but I was one tried boy when I got home from all of that playing!

School Update

I had my second day of school last Saturday and it went really good! I got lots of treats of course! Mr. Robert my teacher told my Mommy and Daddy I did well with my first round of homework. This time I learned how to stay--at first it was hard because there were other people and dogs around that I was just dying to give a nice boxer hello---in the end I ended up doing well again and controlling myself! I have done a good job with my homework---Daddy's friend even came over last night to help me. I have another class tomorrow and I will make sure I update you sooner on that class.

Okay, so I have to tell you about the coolest thing ever! Mommy took me to this place called doggie daycare today. This was a trial run to see if I would do well there and boy did I ever! There were about 10 other dogs there that I got to play with for 30 minutes. It was like going to the dog park but without my mommy and daddy and I got to be inside and outside! Mommy and daddy said I'll get to go to doggie daycare on the days they are both working all day, instead me being in my crate all day all by my lonesome. I'll let you know when I get to spend my first full day there!

Cake Recipe

Hi Furiends! Mommy told me I should share the recipe she used for my cake---in case anyone wants to try it. Mommy cut the recipe in half so if you don't want an 8 inch cake you can do the same.

Peanut Butter Carrot Cake

1 cup flour
1tsp baking soda
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shredded carrots
1tsp vanilla
1/3 cup honey
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients and then add the wet ones. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

To decorate mommy used cottage cheese pureed in the blender as icing and topped it off with some more shredded carrots.

Here are some of the pictures from my birthday celebration---Enjoy! The cake was sooooo good! Mommy made a cake that had peanut butter in it---my favorite! I got a new collar and 2 toys which are pawesome! Oh yea, and some bones and treats.

They Say it's Your Birthday!

As most of you know I am a rescue dog and my mommy and daddy rescued me when I was 7 weeks old. They don't know the exact date of when I was born so this whole week is kinda like my birthday week. We picked today to celebrate my birthday and I was so excited!!! I woke mommy and daddy up early this morning because I was so excited! I already went on a pawesome walk this morning and I get to go to Pet Smart today to pick out some birthday presents! I can't wait---I love getting new toys! Mommy is even going to bake me a birthday cake---I can't wait to try it---she said it has peanut butter in it and I sure do love some peanut butter!
